It took me quite a lot of time, but after over eight months, I can finally say that I have adjusted to motherhood with all of its ups and downs. My little princess is slowly but surely starting to walk, and for the first time ever I feel that I am on the right track to a more balanced life.
Since I still struggle with some leftover baby fat, I have decided to take a personal training course. It is the hardest and most uncomfortable workout routine I have ever experienced , but the sweat, sore muscles and pain (and hopefully the results) are so worth it.
In addition to my new fitness routine, I have also started to try a sugarfree life. Yes, I am avoiding sugar in all forms, and believe me, it is not as easy as I thought it would be! Unfortunately, sugar is not only part of sweets, but of other many groceries as well such as dry fruits, cereals, yoghurt, juices, teas and even breads (just to mention a few)! At the beginning, it was very, very hard for me to eat completely sugarfree and I have to admit that I was quite moody… But after the first week or so, I started to see some changes – my skin has cleared up, I need less sleep and feel a lot more fit. Of course I can´t promise to keep up with this little detox, but so far I am enjoying this healthy lifestyle :-)
I have also become a lot more active on Instagram, so here is a little recap in pictures:
