As you all may remember, I had the honor to attend an event from Dior in Paris last week. The french fashion and beauty house invited to celebrate the launch of their new star products Dior Addict Fluid Stick and Dior Le Vernis nail polish. Together with some of the most famous bloggers (The Blonde Salad, Gala Gonzalez, Stylescrapbook) I had the chance to not only see the new product line for myself, but also to test each and every shade.

After a short presentation each blogger had to choose their two “It-shades” from a wide range of colors which were used during a short makeup touch-up. Afterwards we were being professionally photographed in front of some art installations. I haven´t received the pictures yet, but I will post them on my blog as soon as I get them.

But now on to the newly launched products:

The Dior Addict Fluid Stick is one of the most exciting Dior launches in the past few years. This wonderful new lip product can´t really be classified as gloss, lipstick or lacquer; it is more of a combination of these three with the additional smoothing effect of a balm. The qualities of the Dior Addict Fluid Stick are intense color, sparkling brilliance and absolute naturalness, which ensures long-term lip brightness and comfort. Plus, the packaging design is so thought through and nice to look at – I am sure that this will be my next go-to-product for a quick and expressive makeup.
The Dior Addict Fluid Stick Collection consists of sixteen gorgeous shades to suit all preferences and will be available from April 2014.

But the new All-in-One-Stick is not the only novelty that was launched last week. In addition to its new star product for the lips, Dior revised their whole line of nail polishes. The new enriched organic silicon formula strengthens the surface of the nail for an optimized grip, while the adhesion properties of the high-tech polymer create an invisible fusion between the nail and the nail polish for a long-lasting effect. In addition, the Dior Vernis Couture Effect Gel Collection polish offers extreme shine thanks to a Techno-Polymer Technology from laminated glass that creates smoothness and shine.
There will be 24 shades of nail lacquer available for purchase starting 1st of April.
