Recipe: Skinny Asparagus Pizza

I love Pizza! If it wasn´t for all these calories, I could literally eat Pizza everyday… But since I am always on a strict diet and may only eat Pizza every once in a while, I am glad that I found this wonderful recipe and would like to share it with you:

Here´swhat you need

  • green asparagus (about 500 gr.)
  • 1 cup of sour cream
  • 100 gr. of very thin sliced ham
  • 3-4 shallots
  • 6-8 tomatoes
  • salt and pepper
  • Pizza dough from the supermarket  (even though I prefer selfmade dough, this is a tasty alternative)
  • a bit grating cheese

Wash the asparagus and snap off the woody base of each spear; cook it for around 5 minutes and cut it into fine strips

Clean the shallots and cut them into very fine strips (just like the asparagus)

Roll out the dough and place it on a baking tray; after that top it with tomato slices, shallots and asparagus (and don´t forget salt and pepper!)

 If you want, you can add a little bit of cheese on top of the Pizza

Bake the Pizza in a preheated oven for 18 minutes at 210° C. After that, add the ham on the baked Pizza.
